In 1974, Chip Davis and co-founder Jackson Berkey founded the music group Mannheim Steamroller, which is known primarily for its modern recordings of classical Christmas music. Steamroller released their first four albums between 1975-1979, with all four of them blending baroque classical music, light jazz and a light sense of humor. The group found it's greatest fame in the early part of 1984 as Davis released his first holiday album Mannheim Steamroller Christmas. Since then, Mannheim Steamroller has released 10 additional Christmas albums, of which eight have gone platinum, and 19 other albums. Now YOU can be a part of the magic too!
