B.B. King is known for his expressive singing and blues-style guitar playing that has earned him a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the first artists to be honored by the museum. His career really took off in 1956 when he founded his own record label, Blues Boys Kingdom, and went on a record-breaking 342 concert "Chitlin' Circuit" tour. Since then, B.B. King has received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, won 15 Grammy Awards and released an astonishing 56 albums with tons of chart-topping hits.
